intercity visit to Indianapolis, Indiana
As the 2012 chair-elect of the Tulsa Metro Chamber, I am leading a program called “What’s Next” to assist our community in learning best practices from other top-performing regions. Please plan to join me and a group of 80 influential and diverse representatives for an intercity visit to Indianapolis, Indiana, Monday, October 10 through Wednesday, October 12, 2011.
Former Indianapolis Mayor Bill Hudnut will serve as our host during the trip. Mayor Hudnut served from 1976 to 1992 and was the first mayor to direct Indianapolis’ city-county unified government. He is widely credited with launching the city’s downtown renaissance and recognition as a progressive midwestern metropolitan city.
The agenda is packed for maximum productivity and topics of interest for Indianapolis incl ude:
This trip seeks to build on the lessons learned in Louisville, Kentucky during this trip last year. Together, elected officials, business leaders, and civic volunteers gathered critical research on the development of a successful mega-region.
With your participation, this leadership exchange will further develop a common foundation creating a more cohesive team working to solve problems on behalf of the greater Tulsa region. Thank you for your consideration and I hope to see you in Indianapolis this fall.
Sincerely,
Becky J. Frank
